Private Lessons

Though not required, all students in the Orange High School Band are encouraged to take private lessons. This is an excellent way to obtain one on one instruction by a professional on your instrument.

Generally speaking, the average cost of private instruction ranges from $25.00 - $60.00 per lesson. This rate is set by the private instructor themselves, and is determined by years of experience and demand. The cost of lessons is to be paid by the individual taking lessons, and is not the responsibility of the band program.
